Trade effluent is charged on what you discharge. Every kilogram of organic load leaving your site is billed, and every exceedance carries a penalty on top of it. For most plants, effluent is treated as a fixed cost of operating.
It usually is not.
The commercial case first
Industrial bioremediation reduces organic load before it reaches the municipal connection. The saving is not theoretical — it appears on the trade effluent invoice, and it compounds monthly.
For plants operating close to their discharge limits, the second benefit matters more: headroom. Production increases that would otherwise trigger an exceedance become viable without renegotiating the permit.
How it works in an industrial setting
Oxygen infusion at the base of the effluent stream, organic mass lifted into suspension, aerobic digestion in place. What changes is the dosing regime and the point of application, set against your effluent profile rather than a standard formula.
We work from your analysis. If you have recent COD, BOD, FOG and suspended solids figures, that is the starting point. If you do not, that is the first thing to establish.
Sectors we work with
- Food and beverage processing
- Manufacturing with organic process streams
- Textile and tannery operations
- Commercial laundries
- Any operation where organic load, fats or oils drive the effluent bill
Tell us what you are dealing with
Send us your analysis, or just describe the problem. We will tell you honestly whether bioremediation is the right answer for your site — and if it is not, we will say so.
